Choosing a design

How the homepage gallery turns a name and business field into starting directions.

How do I get ideas related to my business?

Enter the name and choose the closest of eight fields. The first results use symbols assigned to that field. You can switch filters afterward if the business crosses categories or if another visual language suits it better.

Why does the same symbol appear in several cards?

The gallery compares compositions. One symbol may appear stacked, horizontal, framed, split or inside an emblem. These are different structures built from a shared source symbol, which makes it easier to judge layout without changing every variable at once.

Can I browse without a final business name?

Yes. Use a temporary name with a similar length to the expected final name. Letter count affects size and spacing, so a four-letter placeholder will not accurately represent a much longer name.

What if my project fits more than one industry?

Start with the field closest to the main offer, then compare a neighboring filter. A sports clothing project might compare Sports and Fashion. The category organizes results; it does not become part of the downloaded file.

Editing the selected logo

The workspace controls the visible design and provides context previews.

What can I change in the editor?

You can revise the brand name, add an optional tagline, filter symbols by category, select another symbol, change typography, compare six layouts and use preset or custom colors.

Why should I choose the layout before the color?

Layout controls the silhouette, reading order and where the mark can fit. Color cannot repair a composition that is too tall for a header or too detailed for a small profile. Establish the shape first, then tune contrast.

When should I use a tagline?

Add it after the name and symbol work on their own. Taglines are smaller by design and often disappear first when a logo is reduced. If it cannot be read at the intended size, keep a second version without it.

What do the three context previews show?

They show the current design in a sample website header, on a dark surface and at compact profile size. They are quick checks for width, contrast and small-detail loss. They do not reproduce every platform or printing process.

Downloads and file handling

Choose the format based on where the artwork will be used.

What is the transparent PNG for?

PNG is convenient for websites, presentations, documents and social profiles. The current export is 1800 × 1200 pixels with transparency. Its apparent background comes from the page or application where you place it.

What is the SVG for?

SVG stores scalable vector shapes, so the geometry stays sharp as it grows. It is useful for further editing and larger output. Text can render with a substitute font when the selected typeface is unavailable on another computer.

Why can the downloaded file look different from the preview?

A PNG can lose contrast on a new background or look soft if enlarged beyond its bitmap size. An SVG can use a different font in another application. Open the export in the target environment and check it before publishing or printing.

Does the site save my files or changes?

No personal project archive is provided. The editor URL can reopen the starting selection, but later changes inside the workspace are not stored as a complete project history. Keep your own SVG and PNG copies.

Using the logo and checking rights

Downloading a file gives you artwork to use under the Terms, while shared elements remain nonexclusive.

Can I use a generated result for a business?

You may use a file you generate for your own project under the Terms of Use. You remain responsible for the name, third-party rights, typeface requirements and production checks relevant to that use.

Is my selected symbol exclusive?

No. Symbols and composition rules belong to a shared catalog. Another visitor can select the same source element or produce a similar arrangement. A different color or name does not automatically make the mark exclusive.

Does a download mean the logo is ready for trademark registration?

No. The tool does not search trademark databases or assess similarity across markets. Registration can depend on the mark, field, territory and existing rights. Seek an appropriate professional review when exclusivity matters.

What should I check before public use?

Test readability at small size, contrast on actual backgrounds, the shape in wide and square placements, SVG typography in production software, and similar names or marks in the market where you plan to operate.

Free access, privacy and troubleshooting

What free use includes, what happens in the browser and which details help diagnose a problem.

Is LogoCraftory free to use?

Yes. You can browse logo ideas, use the current editor and download PNG or SVG files without paying or creating a visitor account. Free access does not make shared catalog symbols exclusive or replace the rights and production checks explained elsewhere on the site.

Do I need an account?

No. The current public editor works without a visitor account. There is no personal dashboard or cloud design library.

Where can my entered name appear?

The starting name appears in the editor URL. That address can enter browser history, bookmarks, shared links and ordinary server logs. Do not use confidential information as sample text.

What should I try if a download does not start?

Confirm that the browser permits downloads from the site, try the other file format and reload the editor if its script did not finish loading. Keep the browser name, device, selected format and steps before the failure for troubleshooting.

How can I contact support?

A public support channel is still being prepared, so the site does not currently collect support messages through a visitor form. That limitation is also stated in the Privacy Policy; a contact route should only be published after its delivery and data handling are working.
